Shortly after 2:00 AM Saturday, April 5, Ogle County Sheriff’s Deputies checked on a vehicle in the ditch on I-39 southbound.
After an investigation, 43-year-old Ciro Nelson Santos of Milwaukee, WI was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol. Santos was also issued citations for driving with no valid driver’s license, driving under the influence of alcohol over .08, and aggravated driving under the influence of alcohol.
Santos was transported to the Ogle County Jail and released on a notice to appear with a return court date.
