Early Saturday morning, March 29, Ogle County Deputies conducted a traffic stop on Clay Street, just east of South Fourth Street in Oregon.
As a result, Deputies arrested 42-year-old Lachandra L Stokes of Rockford for Driving with No Valid License. Stokes was additionally issued citations for Expired Registration, Operating a Motor Vehicle with Registration Suspended/Mandatory Insurance, and Unlawful Possession of Cannabis/Driver.
Deputies also cited passenger, 41-year-old Shamus L French of Rockford for Unlawful Possession of Cannabis/Passenger, and Illegal Transportation/Carry Alcoholic Liquor/Passenger.
Stokes was released on a Notice to Appear with a future court date. Deputies were assisted on scene by the Oregon Police Department.
