During the early morning hours of Thursday, January 30, Ogle County Deputies attempted to conduct a traffic stop in the 300 block of South 4th Street in Oregon when a vehicle fled.
After a short pursuit, 21-year-old Terrance B Harris Jr. of Oregon was placed under arrest for fleeing or attempting to elude a peace officer. Harris was also cited for speeding, improper turn signal, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, and reckless driving.
Harris was transported to the Ogle County Jail before being released on a notice to appear.
