Sterling Police Arrests Individual on Numerous Charges Including Armed Violence and Possession of Short-Barreled Shotgun

On Tuesday on November 29, Sterling Police took into custody 20-year-old Justin Simmer.  The arrest was a Warrant Check at 109 5^th Avenue.

Simmer was arrested for a Lee County Warrant and a Whiteside County Warrant.  Simmer is also charged with Armed Violence, Possession of a Short-Barreled Shotgun, Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of a firearm and ammunition without a Foid Card and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Simmer was taken to the Whiteside County Jail.
