Pedal Busses are soon going to be seen about town in Oregon. You could probably get on one during the upcoming Autumn on Parade.
During the most recent Oregon City Council meeting, the council voted on the final version of a city amendment concerning the operation of a Pedal Buss. The only difference in the final amendment was the prohibition of open alcohol on the Pedal Buss. They also would not allow glassware on a pedal bus.
The original question had to deal with alcohol. They had considered allowing people to purchase a drink in one of the establishments in town and then bring it with them on the Pedal Buss.
It was decided people can still stop at an establishment in town, but they must stay there to drink it.
