On Monday, April 21 the Dixon Police Department will be conducting a training event at Jefferson Elementary School, 800 4th Avenue, from 11:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
This training event is a multi-agency exercise that will include several other local first responders and agencies. Training signs will be posted in the area and they are asking the public to stay away from the school while the training is conducted.
Normal traffic flow will remain open on 4th Avenue and the surrounding streets. The department will do their best to notify all local residents and they thank you for your cooperation.
