The Greater Sterling Development Corporation is getting ready to hear lights, camera, and action.
During the most recent Sterling City Council meeting, the GSDC Director Heather Sotelo spoke of a film project aimed at recruiting people to come to or return to Sterling to work in local business. The project is called Work, Play and Explore and will be shown on Social Media.
Sotelo said they have 12 months of the seasons and events in Sterling. She went on to say they have 30 hours of video and 8 hours of footage. They will be filming 25-30 activities and events.
When the GSDC first tried to do the recruitment videos, they could not get the needed funding. The GSDC Board gave approval to do the project on its own.
