It is getting that time of the year when communities are planning their infrastructure improvements, if they have not already.

The City of Rock Falls City Administrator, Robbin Blackert said the city has several projects for the citizens.  However, she mentioned the list is not as extensive as last year.

The city has an extra $600,000 from the Motor Fuel Tax that needs to be used by the end of June.  This is why the city waived the bidding process to get the money spent and the projects started.

Blackert said the city plans to use the money for some Chip and Oil projects.  They are also planning a grinding and overlay projects this year.
