The Dixon Historic Theatre announced the appointment of Spencer Aurand as its new Executive Director.
The Theatre Board says Aurand is a lifelong Dixon resident and longtime contributor to the local arts scene, Spencer brings a rare blend of operational expertise, creative vision, and deep community ties to this leadership role.
Spencer’s journey with theatre began as a high school stage manager and grew into a lifelong passion. He has since built a resume in arts administration, most recently serving as Business Manager at Dixon Stage Left.
His experience spans production management, facilities oversight, and strategic planning—skills that will be essential in guiding the Theatre into its next chapter.
