On Saturday evening, March 5, Ogle County Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 5000 block of N. IL Rt. 2 for a speeding violation.
After an investigation, a 15-year-old male juvenile from Byron was arrested for no valid driver’s license, and driving under the influence of alcohol. The juvenile was additionally issued citations for driving under the influence of alcohol over .08, and speeding.
A 14-year-old female juvenile from Oregon, a 16-year-old female juvenile from Byron, and a 17-year-old male juvenile from Byron were also in the vehicle, and issued citations for illegal consumption of alcohol under age 21.
All of the juveniles were released to parents or guardians and provided with a future court date.
