The Dixon Park District wanted to shout a huge THANK YOU to The Dixon Firefighters Charitable Association for their donation of an AED machine to the Dixon Park District.
The Park District Maintenance team installed the new AED machine at The Terry Nichols Pickleball Complex and Dixon Park District Board Member and Dixon City Firefighter, Nate McCoy set our machine up and registered it with Lee County 911.
When someone is experiencing cardiac arrest, prompt use of an AED machine, ideally within the first few minutes, significantly increases the chances of survival.
