Just before 1:30 AM Saturday, March 29, Whiteside County Deputies responded to the 6000 Block of Cordova Road in Rural Erie for a single vehicle accident.
When Deputies arrived, they found the driver and sole occupant of the vehicle deceased at the scene. The identity is being withheld pending notification of the next of kin. The accident remains under investigation.
The Erie Police, Fire and EMS along with the Whiteside County Coroner’s Office assisted the Whiteside County Sheriff’s Office.
