Coming up, later this month, the Lee County 4H would be hosting something special. It is called the Horse Bowl. According to Karla Belzar, University of Illinois County Extension this event is like scholastic bowl, however the twist is it is for horses.
Belzar said the event would be held at Sauk Valley Community College On March 15. Kids from 21 counties would be attending the horse bowl.
Belzar said there is the possibility some of the kids would be spending the night because of the distance they need to travel to get to the Horse Bowl.
