Lee County Sheriff Reports on Super Bowl Traffic Enforcement Effort

From February 7-Monday, February 10, the Lee Sheriff’s Office held their Super Bowl Traffic Enforcement.

It is reported they had no arrests for DUI.  Deputies did have 6 seat belt citations, 2 distracted driving citations, 1 driving with a suspended license and 3 other offenses.

The enforcement of the Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over campaign is paid for by funds from the Illinois Department of Transportation.
