On Monday, February 17, Ogle County Deputies responded to the intersection of N. Kishwaukee Rd and N. Meridian Rd. for a single vehicle accident.
After further investigation the driver of the vehicle, 18-year-old Bradyn A. Jordan of Lake in the Hills was placed under arrest for Driving under the Influence of Drugs and Possession of a Controlled Substance.
It was determined the vehicle was traveling northbound on N. Kishwaukee Rd and failed to negotiate the curve prior to the intersection, striking a field entrance and becoming airborne before colliding with a telephone pole. Jordan was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was booked and released on a Notice to Appear with a future court date.
Jordan was additionally cited for no insurance, failure to reduce speed and improper lane usage. The Winnebago County Sheriff’s Office and Byron EMS/Fire personnel assisted deputies.
