Lee County is trying to find a person who would be the Human Resource Director for the county.
County Administrator Jeremy England said they would continue with the search. The hope is to have a candidate to bring before the board by March.
He told the Executive Committee that they have finished the first round of interviews.
The county decided they needed to hire a human resources director instead of having the department heads do the interviewing and hiring. It is believed an HR person would have better knowledge of rules and regulations.
