On Saturday, November 16, officers from the Fulton Police Department responded to a residence in the 500 block of 12th Avenue, Fulton. The response was based on information indicating that a wanted individual was inside the home.
Upon arrival, officers made contact with a resident outside the residence, who confirmed that the wanted subject, 32-year-old Robert J. White of Clinton, Iowa, was inside.
Efforts to persuade White to exit the residence voluntarily were unsuccessful. The resident then re-entered the home and allowed officers to follow. Robert J. White was located hiding in a bathroom and taken into custody without incident.
He was transported to the Whiteside County Jail, where he awaits extradition on multiple valid warrants from Rock Island County, Illinois, and Clinton County, Iowa.
The Whiteside County Sheriff’s Office, Morrison Police Department (IL), Clinton Police Department, and the Illinois State Police Troop 1 assisted the Fulton Police Department.
