Kudos to Rock Falls Tourism and Selmi’s Greenhouse in Rock Falls for presenting the annual Lumberjack Show. The 4th Annual Lumberjack Show is coming up this Saturday morning at Selmi’s in Rock Falls.
Lumberjack Enterprise from Minnesota will do three shows (each 30 minutes) at 11am, 1pm and 3pm. Let me tell you this- it is so much fun!! There will also be an interactive kid’s lumberjack camp at 1:30pm.
The annual beard contest will be at 2pm. You can register for the beard contest by calling Rock Falls Tourism at 815-622-1106 or email travel@visitrockfalls.com There are five different categories: longest, fullest, best groomed, most unusual and crowd favorite.
There will be something new this year and it will be Zoli’s Woodcarving. They are from Monroe, Wisconsin and will be performing three live woodcarving demonstrations at 10am, 12pm and 4pm.
There will also be many other activities at Selmi’s Farm such as the kids’ haunted house, hayrack rides, Mt Selmi and so much more. There will be food vendors on site.
River Country 101.7 and Sam Ramirez will be there live from 10am-12pm.
