Oregon Police Investigating Social Media Threat Made Against Oregon High School

The Oregon Police Department says they were informed of an alleged threat to the Oregon High School.

The threat was claimed to happen on Friday, September 20.  The threat was found on social media and brought to the attention of the school district and law enforcement.

Oregon Police are working with the Oregon School District and the FBI- Rockford Office.  All the students reportedly to be believed to have been a part of the threat were not allowed to attend school on Thursday.

Authorities do not believe there is any immediate danger to the school or students and staff.  Oregon Police have a great presence at the schools.  Oregon Police say they take all threats seriously.
