Stillman Valley Bank say they have recently been made aware of ads on Facebook & Instagram that appear to be directing Facebook users to click to find out if they were “wrongfully charged overdraft fees” or “may be owed money.” These ads are fraudulent and an attempt to trick customers into providing information they can use to further scam you.
If you see this type of advertisement on Facebook or Instagram, STOP! Do not click on any links! These advertisements appear to be similar to those commonly seen on television or heard on the radio asking the public whether they “have been injured from a product” suggesting that they “call now.”
